Last Sunday, as I logged on to my Facebook page I was greeted with a pleasant surprise as Lovemelots Creations reached 2000 likers, yeay! I'm so happy and it occured to me that I have never celebrated fb page milestones here on my blog (when we reach 100, 200, 500, 1000 likes, you get the picture lol)...So I figured perhaps its a great time to celebrate as it coincides with the new year.
Then yesterday, I was again blessed with good news very early in the morning when I logged on to my university's student portal ( notice how both have something to do with news from the Internet? We are indeed in the year 2012! :P )...I received my semester result!!! As always I share it here mainly for my children and also for friends and family reading this blog.
Alhamdulillah......I am forever thankful that whatever effort I put in plus never ending du'a and prayer from everyone that matters in my life (especially my mother)...I managed! Business Research Methods is definitely a downer for me, it was unexpected, I must have done something wrong in my finals there. Nonetheless, even though the result is not as good as last semester, I am still very much happy because I've lamented how stressful this semester had been with four advanced courses....

Even more so,a 'proper' mommy, 2 years later when Serena was born. I was so miserable and not myself, knowing I had given up my dreams, WHO I was. An artist!

I wept often through the whole production because I remembered the 'real me' again. What a GIFT to know the real you. I had not experienced such happiness in so very long. Then I figured it all out:
Yes, Your family is your inspiration, but you owe it to them to be happy and take care of your needs. To set an example for your children, especially MY daughter, to not sacrifice the soul, and/or to be a martyr for others. For when you achieving your best, they learn how to do the same. And I know I am a better wife and mom now. It still makes cry, finding myself and showing them the real me. A happier, more loving me.
Congrats Darling, on your school goals. Keep reaching for the "Brass Ring" You are a great example for your daughters.

Being a role model for my children motivates me. As a single mother of 3 young children, I'm finishing my post graduate studies in June (having studied online for the last 2 years) and will register as a Primary Teacher in July. Teaching, sharing and inspiring children excite and drive my creativity.

As for me, taking care of my son is a hard and challenge task for me, but when I'm think he will become a cheerful and healthy boy as he grow up. I feel very happy and forget all those worries... Congrats Zura.. I think you are entitled to be a supermum here, its not an easy things to achieve such a good result while being a mum to 2 kids, wife and also not to forget a bizwomen..

I am homeschooling my kid and maannn...that takes more than anything I've done before. But she is the inspiration for all that I do. Nothing beats seeing her growing up into a lovely young lady.

I'm a stay at home mom, and personally I'm just hope to be good at it. I can't do it all but I do every thing I can. My motivation is making my husband proud, and my kids smiles.

I'd rephrase the Q - What gets me out of bed every morning...
1. As a wife and mother - Amanah, love, responsibility and knowing that if I do not, I'd be the one cleaning up the mess afterword
2. As myself - knowing that I'm living my dream which is getting to do what I'm passionate about and getting paid for it.. There are times when I do feel demotivated and burn out.. on days like that, I go back to my 'plan' and fiddle around with new ideas.. It's important to keep things FRESH and NEW.. breath in some new ideas, angle, aspect, challenge.. to keep me on my toe and push me forward... Once something becomes a routine, that's when I start getting lazy.. I love the idea that this little art that I create is an extension of me.. me,me, Me, ME... *grin*

apa yg motivate saya:
sudah tentu kedua-dua orang tua sy..
sejak kecil lagi hidup saya sederhana n tak berlebih2an..
tak sama mcm budak perempuan lain, masa kecik2 dapat barbie, sy tak rs semua tu..
bila besar,student perempuan lain shopping sakan tp saya buat pelbagai keje(jual kuih raya,jual baju bundle) nak dapat extra income untuk sara hidup di universiti..
tapi,still bersyukur sebab masih ada kedua2 ibu bapa sy..mereka lah tulang belakang sy,sentiasa mmberi motivasi masa susah dan senang..
tanpa mereka,sudah tentu sy tak masuk universiti dah..hihi..
mereka sentiasa motivate saya untuk terus belajar bersungguh2..
saya juga x sabar nak grad, nak balas jasa mereka..! :)

anak2 merupakan sumber kekuatan dan suami merupakan tulang belakang.. ibu bapa pendorong semangat.. dan saya percaya pada konsep "what u give u get back"..
just like u, always bring happiness to others with ur creations so i believe double happiness will turn back to u..

My inspiration comes from all the important people in my life-- Grandparents (who have passed on, but are with me every day of my life), parents, sisters, husband, children and grandchild. Their love and belief in me helps me to try to do my best in everything that I attempt. Congratulations on the success in your life-- my youngest daughter is working on her degree, so I know how stressful it can be -- and what an accomplishment it is!!
